Good Research Practice
Good Research Practice (GRP Education)—In addition to the required training modules for research, there are occasions when a department may need additional training in Good Research Practices, e.g., new residents or staff or a refresher course for existing staff. The Education and Compliance Office has developed a 90-minute program to address this need.
The program covers the highlights of Good Research Practice and includes a brief review of:
- Protocol Implementation from Preparation to Closure
- Protocol Adherence and Oversight
- Informed Consent
- Study Documentation
- Drug/Device Accountability
- PI Responsibilities
If your department would like to arrange for a presentation, please contact any member of the ECO staff or call the education coordinator at 412-383-1985.
